You can set a banner, such as your own name or
simple text, to be displayed at the bottom of the
display in Standby mode.
To change the banner:
1. If necessary, press
to clear the old
message.
2. Enter a new banner message using the
alpanumeric keys.
For more information about how to enter
characters, see page 28.
3. When you have finished entering the message,
press
to save it.
Text Slide

You can set the phone to display a greeting
message that scrolls horizontally at the top of the
idle screen.
1. Press

2. If text is already entered, press
Enter text of up to 32 characters.
For further information about entering
characters, see page 28.
3. Press
to save your input.
4. Select Set to turn on the feature.
If you want to turn off the feature, select
Cancel.

Dialpad Setup

This menu allows you to change the size or color of
the number that displays when you enter a phone
number to dial.
Size

You can select the size of the number that displays
when you enter a phone number to dial.
Select either Large or Small.
Color

You can select the color of the number that displays
when you enter a phone number to dial.
Select one of the several options.

Language/

-OK-6)
You can change the display language. You may
select either
or ENGLISH.
Note: The language setting does not affect the
Wireless Web. The language in the web browser
may vary, depending on your Internet services.
Flashlight Setting
(
-OK-7)
You can set whether or not you use the flash when
you take a photo, and you can view the external
display when it is dark.
Select Set to use the flash. Otherwise select
Cancel. Press
to save the setting.
