Sounds

Volume
To adjust the volume of the ringer and voice:
Activate the main menu, highlight the Settings menu, and press
1.
Select Sounds.

Select Volume.
3.
Select Ringer, Voice, Headset, Speaker Phone, Text Message, Pic/

Video Message, or More....
For Ringer, press the navigation key up or down until the desired
volume level is selected. Press
Vibrate. Press
For Voice, Headset, Speaker Phone, select a Level (1-8).
For Text Message and Pic/Video Message, use the navigation keys
to select Use Ringer Volume or Adjust Volume. Press
or deselect Always Vibrate. Press
For More..., select Alarm, Applications, or Voice Mail.
Silence All
There may be times when you need to silence your phone entirely. The phone's
Silence All option allows you to mute all sounds without turning your phone off.
With the phone open, press and hold the down volume key in standby
mode. (The screen will display "Silence All.") To deactivate Silence All,
press the up volume key repeatedly to select a desired volume level.
Ringer Type
You can assign ringer types to individual Contacts entries, types of calls, Schedule
entries, and types of messages.

For Alarm and Voice Mail, use the navigation keys to select Use
Ringer Volume or Adjust Volume. Press
Always Vibrate. Press
For Applications, select Volume and use the navigation keys to
select Use Ringer Volume or Adjust Volume. Press

On, and press
