Section 10: Applications
A number of preloaded (or downloadable) applications are
available from your Wireless Carrier for your Finesse™ phone.
The following list names those applications that are available
from the Main Menu or Widget Bar:
My Metro (on the Widget Bar) — Lets you access your Wireless

Carrier's online Customer Support.
mail@metro — Lets you access your personal and/or business e-mail
•
account(s) using your Finesse™ phone.
•
Metro Navigator — Lets you access maps and driving directions
using your Finesse™ phone.
Metro411 — Lets you access the Metro411 Directory Assistance
•
service.
Metro BACKUP — Lets you keep a synchronized copy of your
•
Contacts list on your Wireless Carrier's server.
Mobile IM — Lets you access your Instant Messaging account with

your Finesse™ phone.

Accessing My Metro
In standby mode, press the

right arrow tab on the left
edge of the display. The
Widget Bar slides open to the
right and lists icons for those
Widgets selected in the
Widget settings. (For more
information, refer to "Widget"
on page 133..)
Press and slide the Widget

Bar upward until you locate the My Metro widget.
Press and slide the My Metro widget onto your standby

screen, then tap the My Metro widget.
If My Metro is not present on your phone, "Can't find
application on phone. Click Yes to search catalog" appears
in the display. (For more information, refer to "@metro" on
page 74..)
