ENTRY MODES

When you connect a USB device, this pop up menu is displayed automatically.
In USB device, you can not add a new folder or delete the existing folder.
Connect the USB device to the U U S S B B I I N N jacks

on the side of TV.
This TV supports JPG, MP3 files and SD DivX.

Precautions when using the USB device
Only a USB storage device is recognizable.
G G
If the USB storage device is connected through a USB hub,
G G
the device is not recognizable.
A USB storage device using an automatic recognition pro-
G G
gram may not be recognized.
A USB storage device which uses its own driver may not
G G
be recognized.
In case of a card reader, up to four memory cards are con-
G G
currently recognizable.
The recognition speed of a USB storage device may
G G
depend on each device.
Please do not turn off the TV or unplug the USB device
G G
when the connected USB storage device is working.
When such device is suddenly separated or unplugged,
the stored files or the USB storage device may be dam-
aged.
Please do not connect the USB storage device which was
G G
artificially maneuvered on the PC. The device may cause
the product to malfunction or fail to be played. Never for-
get to use only a USB storage device which has normal
music, image or movie files.
Please connect power to a USB storage device which (over
G G
0.5A) requires an external power supply. If not, the device
may not be recognized.
Please connect a USB storage device with cable is offered
G G
by USB maker. If connected with cable is not offered by
USB maker or an excessively long cable, the device may
not be recognized.

NOTE
In order to avoid losing the USB memory stick, use the

USB connector(sold separately) to fix the USB memory
stick to the USB connector holder of the TV.

ory stick and the other end to the USB connector holder.
Some USB storage devices may not be supported or

operate properly.
Please backup important files because data on the

USB device may be damaged. Data management is
the consumer's responsibility and as a result, the
manufacturer does not cover data damage.
Maximum of 999 files and folders can be recognized.

Please use only a USB storage device which was format-

ted as a FAT16, FAT32, NTFS file system provided with
the Windows operating system. In case of a storage
device formatted as a different utility programme which
is not supported by Windows, it may not be recognized.
Data in a USB storage device cannot be deleted in the
G G
NTFS file system.
Data in a USB storage device cannot be aligned.
G G
The TV will display up to 1 28 characters of a file name.
G G
If the USB is connected in Standby Mode, specific hard
G G
disk will automatically be loaded when the TV is turned on.
The recommended capacity is 1TB or less for a USB exter-
G G
nal hard disk and 32GB or less for USB memory.
Any device with more than the recommended capacity
G G
may not work properly.
If a USB external hard disk with a "Energy Saving" function
G G
does not work, turn the hard disk off and on again to make
it work properly.
