Warning
Always remove the key when you leave your
motorcycle unattended and make sure it is not
accessible to persons not authorised to use the
motorcycle.

Refuelling

Refuel outdoors with engine off.
Do not smoke or use open flames while refuelling.
Be careful not to spill fuel on engine or exhaust pipe.
Never completely fill the tank when refuelling. Fuel
should never be touching the rim of filler recess.
When refuelling, avoid breathing the fuel vapours and
prevent fuel from reaching your eyes, skin or clothes.
Warning
The motorcycle is only compatible with fuel
having a maximum content of ethanol of 10% (E10).
Using fuel with ethanol content over 10% is
forbidden. Using it could result in severe damage of
the engine and motorcycle components. Using fuel
with ethanol content over 10% will make the
warranty null and void.
Warning
In case of indisposition caused by breathing fuel
vapours for a long time, stay in the open air and
contact your doctor. In case of contact with eyes,
thoroughly flush with water; in case of contact with
skin, immediately clean with water and soap.
Warning
Fuel is highly flammable, in case of accidental
spillage of fuel on your clothes it is necessary to
change into clean clothes.

Carrying the maximum load allowed

Your motorcycle is designed for long-distance riding,
carrying the maximum load allowed in full safety.
Even weight distribution is critical to preserving these
safety features and avoiding trouble when performing
sudden manoeuvres or riding on bumpy roads.
Warning
The maximum speed permitted with the side
bags and top case fitted must not exceed 81 mph (130
km/h) and at any rate it must comply with the
applicable statutory speed limits.
