Epson Scan offers several scanning m odes t o choose from .
H om e M ode let s you cust om ize som e scanning set t ings and check t heir effect s wit h a preview im age.
Hom e Mode is best when you want t o preview im ages of your originals before scanning t hem . You can size t he
im age as you scan, adj ust t he scan area, and adj ust m any im age set t ings, including color rest orat ion, dust
rem oval, and backlight correct ion.

Professional Mode is best when you want t o preview your im age and m ake ext ensive, det ailed correct ions t o it
before scanning. You can sharpen, color correct , and enhance your im age wit h a full array of t ools, including
color rest orat ion, dust rem oval, and backlight correct ion.

To change t he scan m ode, click t he arrow in t he Mode box in t he upper right corner of t he Epson Scan window. Then,
select t he m ode you want t o use from t he list t hat appears.
