HOW TO USE Pre-heating the appliance helps. Turn on the unit, the red light will come on and will switch to green when it is ready. Throughout the cooking process, the green light will switch on & off, based on the thermostat maintain the heat. The thermostat knob can be adjusted to suit: if doing steak, place on high for 3-4 minutes each side, then lower the temperature a bit. -
