  • Page 7: Chapter 1 Introduction

Chapter 1 Introduction Overview The SSG-927R-E2CJB is a high-end Super Storage Bridge Bay (SBB) JBOD system comprised of two main subsystems: the SC927ETS chassis and two AOM- SAS3-937EL-JB SAS expander cards. Equipped with 1200W (Titanium Level) high-efficiency redundant power supplies and redundant cooling fans, the Super SBB JBOD product line offers high-available, high-reliability JBOD storage systems at a competitive price.
  • Page 8: Sas Expander

SAS Subsystem The SSG-927R-E2CJB supports up to 24 2.5" SAS drives, connected through a SAS3 expander backplane. These drives are hot-swappable and are connected to a midplane that provides power and control.
