Operation

The VC-12SV operates either in Channel Select
mode or in Effect On/Off mode. Each mode lets
you control the connected device in a variety of
ways.
The VC-12SV also provides a tuning function.

Channel Select mode

In this mode you can select programs on the
connected device.
Entering Channel Select mode
When you're in Channel Select mode, the BANK
display will show the bank number.
If the BANK display shows one of the following
indications, use the prescribed method to enter
Channel Select mode.
• BANK display indicates
You're in Effect On/Off mode.
Press the CHANNEL - FX ON/OFF switch to
enter Channel Select mode.
• BANK display indicates
name"
The tuner is operating.
Press the TUNER switch to return to Channel
Select mode or Effect On/Off mode.
If the BANK display now indicates
in Effect On/Off mode. Press the CHANNEL -
FX ON/OFF switch.
• BANK display is blinking
You're selecting a program bank.
Press the CHANNEL - FX ON/OFF switch to
cancel the bank selection and return to Channel
Select mode or Effect On/Off mode.
If the BANK display now indicates
in Effect On/Off mode. Press the CHANNEL -
FX ON/OFF switch.
• BANK display indicates
The connected device is in Manual mode.
First defeat Manual mode on the connected
device, and then look at the VC-12SV's BANK
display and take the appropriate action as
described above.

Selecting a program

1. Use the VC-12SV's BANK UP/DOWN
2. Press a foot switch [1]–[4] to select a channel.
Selecting a program within the same bank

The bank number will blink in the BANK
display.
The program will change.
The bank number in the BANK display will
light, and the LED of the foot switch you
pressed will light.
To select another program within the same
bank, simply press a foot switch [1]–[4].
