Reasons to shoot in 4K
• Shoot 4K video if you have 4K video distribution in mind: a 4K DCP for
film festivals, for example, or a 4K video split across two HD
projectors.
• Next year the CDA will purchase a 4K RAW upgrade for one camera,
then 4K image quality from the camera will improve and (if you shoot
in 4K Pro Res 422) editing will be easier.
