If pilot burner remains lit.
Jump across both "TH"
wires on gas valves
If main burner fires,
remove jumper
Jump across pressure
switch terminals
If main burner fires,
remove jumper
Clean filter
Check for adequate water
flow from filter
Replace pressure switch
If main burner fires,
remove jumper
Replace thermostat

If main burner does not
fire, remove jumper
If main burner does not
fire, remove jumper
Jump across thermostat
If main burner does
Jump across each high
limit and remove jumper
Replace high limit that
caused heater to fire
Replace well and maintain water chemistry
Replace heat exchanger and maintain
See pressure switch adjustment.
Replace refractory.
Determine cause of sooting and correct.
RAYPAK POOL OR SPA HEATER ELECTRICAL
CHECK WITH MV GAS VALVE
Filter must be on with adequate water flow through heater.
Gas valve must be "ON" position. Thermostat set higher
than pool water temperature.
Jumpers are for temporary check only. If left in place,
they could cause the heater to burn up.
If pilot burner goes out
when main burner lights
or when gas valve knob
is released
Remove both "TH"
Replace
wires from gas valve.
