Manual defrost should be done as follows.

1 Change the DIP SW1-1 on the outdoor controller board or switch board from OFF to ON.
2 Manual defrost will start by the above operation 1 if all these conditions written below are satisfied.
• Heat mode setting
• 10 minutes have passed since compressor started operating or previous manual defrost is finished.
• Pipe temperature is less than or equal to 8:.
Manual defrost will finish if certain conditions are satisfied.
Manual defrost can be done if above conditions are satisfied when DIP SW1-1 is changed from OFF to ON.
After DIP SW1-1 is changed from OFF to ON, there is no problem if DIP SW1-1 is left ON or changed to OFF again.
This depends on the service conditions.

'Power failure automatic recovery' can be set by either remote controller or this DIP SW. If one of them is set to ON, 'Auto recovery' acti-

vates. Please set 'Auto recovery' basically by remote controller because all units do not have DIP SW.
Also, once it is set, 'Auto recovery' will not be deactivated even setting the DIP SW to OFF. To deactivate, set the DIP SW to OFF, and turn
the power OFF and ON again, then also set "NO FUNCTION" on remote controller. Please refer to the indoor unit installation manual.
SW7-1 is setting change over of Demand/Low noise. It is effective only in case of external input.

Please do not use SW7-3 to SW7-6 usually. Trouble might be caused by the usage condition.
