Options during a call

Using Phonebook

You can use the Phonebook option during a call to
search for or store entries.
For further details about the Phonebook feature,
see page 58.

Sending a sequence of DTMF tones

You can send DTMF tones as a group after entering
the entire number you need to send.
This option is helpful for entering a password or an
account number when you call an automated
system, like a banking service.
To send DTMF tones:
1. While connected to the teleservice system,
press the Options soft key.
2. Select Send DTMF and press the select soft
key.
3. Enter the number you want to send and press
the OK soft key.
The tones are sent.

Using the message service

If you receive a message during a call, the Message
icon ( ) appears on the display. The Message
option enables you to read the message. You can
also send a new message.

Using SIM services

The SIM service menu is available if you use a SIM
card that provides additional services, such as
news, weather, sports, entertainment, and location
services. Available services may vary, depending on
your service provider's service plans.

Making a multi-party call

A multi-party call is a network service that allows up
to 6 people to take part simultaneously in a multi-
party or conference call. For further details about
subscribing to this service, contact your service
provider.
Setting up a multi-party call
1. Call the first participant in the normal way.
2. Call the second participant in the normal way.
The first call is automatically put on hold.
3. To join the first participant to the multi-party
call, press the Options soft key and select Join.
Press the Select soft key.
4. To add a new person to the multi-party call, call
the new person in the normal way and press the
Options soft key. Select Join and press the
Select soft key.
You can add incoming callers by answering the
call, pressing the Options soft key, and
selecting Join.
