Message Setting
In this menu, you can preset several options for using
the messaging feature.
New Message
(
MENU 3-8-1
You can set up the default settings of the options for
creating a new message. The following options are
available:
Save In Outbox: allows you to set whether or not you
want the transmitted message to be saved in the
Outbox.
- Not Save: The phone does not save the message.
- Prompt: The phone asks you whether or not you want
to save the message.
- Auto Save: The phone automatically saves the
message.
Callback #: allows you to set the call back number. It
is preset to your phone number at the factory.
Entry Mode: allows you to select the text input mode
between T9 Word (T9 English) and Alphabet.
Delivery Ack: allows you to activate or deactivate
the delivery acknowledgement.
My Signature: allows you to attach your name to the
message.

Message Alert

MENU 3-8-2
This menu allows you to set alert settings for an
incoming messages.
Volume/Vibrate: allows you to adjust the alert
volume level or select the alert type.
Type: allows you to select ringer type from Voice
Mail, Page, Text and Web Alert.
Reminder: allows you to set how many times the
phone alerts you to an incoming message. Once,
Every 2 min options are available. Select Off if you do
not want to be alerted.
Scroll Timer

MENU 3-8-3
If an incoming message is too long for the display, the
phone displays it by scrolling the screen automatically.
You can set how often the phone scrolls the message
to the next screen.
If you select Off, you need to scroll to the next screen
manually using the Up and Down keys.
Auto Delete
(
MENU 3-8-4
This option allows you to delete your message
automatically after viewing it.
To set the phone to warn you before your message is
deleted, select Warning Msg.
