Fuel Pressure Inspection; Fuel Pump Relay Inspection - HYOSUNG GV250 EI Service Manual

FUEL PRESSURE INSPECTION

● Remove the front seat.
● Place a rag under the fuel injector hose.
● Disconnect the fuel injector hose from the fuel
hose joint.
● Install the special tool between the fuel tank and
fuel hose joint.
Fuel pump pressure gauge
Turn the ignition switch "ON" position and check the
fuel pressure.
Fuel pressure
of fuel pump (333 ~ 363 kPa, 48.4 ~ 52.6 psi)
If the fuel pressure is lower than the specification,
inspect the following items :
* Fuel hose leakage
* Clogged fuel filter
* Pressure regulator
* Fuel pump
If the fuel pressure is higher than the specification,
inspect the following items :
* Fuel pump check valve
* Pressure regulator
WARNING
● ● Before removing the special tool, turn the
ignition switch to "OFF" position and release
the fuel pressure slowly.
● ● Gasoline is highly flammable and explosive.
Keep heat, sparks and flame away.

FUEL PUMP RELAY INSPECTION

side of the frame, and 『
relay is located in the rear side of the side cover.
● Remove the frame cover. (
● Remove the side cover. (
● Remove the fuel pump relay
