Calling emergency services

Regardless of your 3-digit emergency code (911,
111, 999, 000, etc.), your phone operates as
described below.
• Dial your 3-digit emergency code and
press .
You can call the code even if your phone is locked,
has no balance, or your account is restricted. When
you call, your phone enters
enables the emergency service exclusive access to
your phone to call you back, if necessary. To make
or receive regular calls after dialing the code, you
must exit this mode.

Using your phone in an airplane
While in an airplane, it is normally required that
you turn off your mobile phone because it emits RF
signals that interfere with air traffic control.
In Airplane mode, however, your phone will not
emit RF signals. You cannot make or receive calls,
send text messages, or use the Web, but you can
play games, use the Scheduler, set the clock, and
make emergency calls to designated emergency
numbers.
