3.4 LAU Installation
After determining that the installation of the LAU has not affected the
network's adjusted ring length, or after making the appropriate
adjustments as described in Section 3.2, Calculating Distances, follow
these simple steps.
1. Select an unused lobe port on the MAU. Connect the cable from the
lobe port to the Main port connector on the LAU.
2. Connect the Channel cables to the LAU Port Channel connectors and
to the token ring card connectors on the attaching devices.
The following illustration shows a typical MAU/LAU configuration.
