Before contacting the after-sales service, please check whether you can remedy the fault
yourself. When you contact the after-sales service, you will be charged call-out costs if a
technician is required, even within the warranty period. You can find your nearest after-sales
centre from the list enclosed. When contacting the after-sales service, please quote the product
number (E no.) and the production number (FD) of the appliance ( -> inside of the door).

– Turn the programme selector to o (Off).
– Remove the mains plug from the socket.

Exhaust air duct blocked or bent?
Clean the exhaust air duct -> page 6.
If necessary, clean the insect screen on the exhaust air
pipe.

Make sure the dryer is level.
Push the door closed until you hear it engage.
Clean the fluff filter -> page 4.
Ambient temperature higher than 35 °C -> ventilate the
room.

Dryer installed too closely to other objects? Provide
adequate air circulation.
Mains failure -> Restart the dryer.
Fine layer of limescale on the moisture sensors. Clean the

Use the next drying programme up or the timer

Warm laundry feels damper than it really is!
Make sure the room is sufficiently ventilated.

Exhaust air duct blocked or bent?
Clean the exhaust air duct -> page 6.
Switch off, allow to cool, switch back on and restart the
programme.
Remove the laundry from the dryer immediately and
spread it out. Heat may escape.
Exhaust air duct too long? Check the maximum exhaust air
