When going to start Easy Connect, the message "There is no
wireless network adapter that allows..." is displayed.
Is a desired device icon shown in the "Network Connections"
window
Is a device icon valid in the
"Network Connections" window of PC.
Can the "Wireless Network" tab be chosen in "Network
Connections >Properties"?
Is the item "Use Windows to configure my wireless network
settings" checked?
When selecting "Network Connections > Display wireless
networks", is a list displayed?
Update the driver of the wireless LAN device.
Update Wireless Utility.

*1 It can be referred to from "Start > Control Panel > Network Connections" or "Start > Settings > Control Panel > Network and Dial-up Connections".
*2 Other applications may be controlling the same device as Wireless Utility.

under executing Easy Connect.
Not checked --> Windows Zero Config is invalid. Only WLU configures wireless LAN settings.
*4 Wireless Utility offers Easy Connect function with the help of the interface of NDIS 5.1 standard.
There are some which are not supporting the standard in the device driver for Windows 2000.
If the same device can be used on Windows XP, there may be a driver of a new version. It is recommended to use the newest driver.
There is no wireless network adapter that allows a change of settings. Easy Connect will be stopped.
