Troubleshooting

Problem
The speakers produce a pop sound
whenever the power is turned on/off.
The speakers do not produce sound
when the keys are played.
The volume of the speakers is too
low even though the Master Volume
Knob is set to the max.
The speakers are producing noise or
interference.
Certain notes produce the wrong
pitch.

Solution
This is normal and is not cause for alarm.
Check if the master volume is set too low or if
headphones are plugged into the Headphone
Output. The speakers will be muted if there are
headphones plugged into the Headphone Output.
Check the volumes under Voice Volume in the
Function Menu. If that does not work, then hold the
Metronome and Transpose buttons together while
turning on the power to restore the factory default
settings.
Using a mobile phone in close proximity to the
Recital Pro digital piano may produce interference. To
prevent this, turn off the mobile phone or keep it
away from the piano.
Make sure that the transpose value is set to 0. If that
does not work, then hold the Metronome and
Transpose buttons together while turning on the
power to restore the factory default settings.
