CARBURETOR DISASSEMBLY/
ASSEMBLY
REMOTE CHOKE LEVER TYPE

G asoline is highly flammable and explosive . Y ou
can be burned or seriously injured when handling
fuel .
• K eep heat , sparks , and flame away .
• H andle fuel only outdoors .
• W ipe up spills immediately .
T o prevent serious eye injury , always wear safety
goggles or other eye protection when using com -
pressed air .
R emove the following :
– A ir cleaner ( page 6-2)
– C arburetor ( page 6-10*)
B efore disassembly , clean the outside of the carburetor .

ASSEMBLY:
B efore installing , clean
thoroughly with low - pressure
compressed air .
L ightly lubricate the O- ring
[1] to ensure easy installation
into the carburetor body .
