Engaging the manual wheel lock
1. Press lever (1) forward.
Disengaging the manual wheel lock
1. Pull lever (1) backwards.

6.4 Getting in and out of the mobility device

– The armrest must be removed or swiveled
up in order to get into or out of the mobility
device from the side.

6.4.1 Removing the armrests in order to side transfer

(Standard seat / Firm seat / Modulite seat)
The armrest is either fixed with a locking pin or a locking
screw, depending on the version. If you intend to get into
the mobility device on the side that the remote is on, then
depending on the remote version you may be able to detach
the remote cable.

1. Pull the plug A of the remote cable to disconnect the
remote.
2. Loosen wing nut B.
3. Remove the armrest from the holder.
6.4.2 Removing the armrests in order to side transfer

(Flex 2 seat)

The armrest is either fixed with a locking pin or a locking
screw, depending on the version. If you intend to get into
the mobility device on the side that the remote is on, then
depending on the remote version you may be able to detach
the remote cable.
1. Pull the plug (1) of the remote cable to disconnect the
remote.
2. Push the locking pin (2) in.
3. Remove the armrest from the holder.
