AUDIO NORMAL CIRCUIT
Notes:

Set the following switch or On-screen menu to the posi-
tions indicated below, before making following adjust-
ments.

To select AV and AUDIO mode
1. Press the MENWTV button on the remote control, the
MAIN MENU appears.
2.
"MODEm is selected, then press the OK button. MODE
SEITING menu will appear.
3. "SYSTEM" is selected, then press the OK button.
RECORDING AND PlAYBACK SYSTEM SETTING menu

will appear.
4. 'AV" : "AVI" and "AUDIO' : "MONO" are selected, press
the OK button.

Self- recording means "Record the AUDIO signal and play
back the just-recorded portion.

1. Load the VCR with a blank tape and select the REC (SP)
mode without all incoming signal.
2. After confirming on the oscilloscope that a 70 kHz * 5kHz
sine wave is being output, adjust VR201 (BIAS) so that the
AC voltmeter's reading is 24 mVrms.
AUDIO FM (Hi-Fi) CIRCUIT

Before making these adjustments, check that the surface
of the parts touching the tape such as the A-FM head or
guides are clean.
Set the following switch or On-screen menu to the posi-
tions indicated below, before making following adjust-
ments.

SEITING menu will appear.
3. 'SYSTEM- is selected, then press the OK button.
RECORDING AND PLAYBACK SYSTEM SEITING menu
will appear.
4. 'AVg : 'AVI", "AUDIO" : "ST" are selected, press the OK
button.

Connect a frequency counter to TP233 (Lch), TP234 (Rch)
and ground.
Adjust VR233 (L-FO) so that in the zero level signal status
the frequency at TP233 becomes 1.4 MHz +41-6 kHz.
Adjust VR234 (R-FO) so that in the zero level signal status
the frequency at TP234 becomes 1.8 MHz +4/-6 kHz.
