    Configuring the VIP-Gateway Once the VIP-Gateway and G-BOX have been completely wired and powered up, the Gateway must be configured and activated; both of which are performed on-line. If the Gateway is only to be used for live viewing and there are no plans to trigger video events to the VideoAlert.net server, the only step required is the registration of the MAC address described below.
