VOX
*Channel Selector Knob
Rotate the knob to select from channel 1 to 16.
* Radio On-Off/Volume Control Knob
Rotate the knob clockwise to turn the radio on, rotate the knob fully counter-clockwise until a
"click" is heard to turn the radio off.
Turn the knob clockwise to increase the volume, or counter-clockwise to decrease the
volume.
*Battery latch, used to remove the battery.
* Accessory Jack
The jack is used to connect speaker, microphone, external PTT, earpiece, programming
cable and cloning cable.

Battery Information

Safety Precautions
The optional battery is shipped uncharged from the factory. Please charge a new battery or
battery that has not been used for a long time prior to use. The maximum capacity of the battery
is achieved only after 2 or 3 charging and discharging cycles. When the battery power runs low,
please recharge the battery or replace with a refresh one.
Applicable Battery Packs
To reduce the risk of injury, charge only the battery specified by the manufacturer. Other
batteries may burst, causing bodily injury and damage.
Caution:
1.
Do not short circuit the battery terminals or discard the battery in fire. Never attempt to
