General

WARNING! The user must only carry out
!
the maintenance and service work
described in this manual. More extensive
work must be carried out by an
authorized service workshop.
To prevent accidental starting, the steps
described in this chapter must be
performed with the motor off and the
power cable removed from the socket, if
not otherwise stated.
Wear personal protective equipment. See
instructions under the heading "Personal
protective equipment".
The life span of the machine can be
reduced and the risk of accidents can
increase if machine maintenance is not
carried out correctly and if service and/or
repairs are not carried out professionally.
If you need further information please
contact your nearest servicing dealer.
Always disconnect the power cable before carrying
out service.
Please see the engine Operator's Manual for
additional information about servicing the engine.

Daily Maintenance

General
Check that the machine's safety equipment is
undamaged. See instructions in the section
"Machine's safety equipment".
Clean the outside of the machine. Do not use a high
pressure washer to clean the saw.
Do not use water to clean the motor and electric
cabinett.
Open the blade guard. Clean both the inside and
outside, and close the blade guard.
Loosen the conveyor cart's two collection trays, both
the rear and the front, and clean them.
Loosen the water collecting tray and clean it.
Water pump
Run through the water system for a short period in
order to prevent hoses getting blocked with slurry.
WARNING! Never clean motor and

electric parts with water.

MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE

Plastic wheels, conveyor cart

Inspect the plastic wheels on the conveyor cart and
change if damaged.

Drive belt

Adjusting / replacing the drive belt
CAUTION! When replacing the drive belt.
!
Make sure to replace with a drive belt as
specified by Husqvarna.
Remove the drive belt cover.
Loosen the 4 screws (1) holding the motor plate.
