Enabling/Disabling the Phone Lock

The phone lock protects your phone from unauthorized use. By
default, the phone lock function is disabled. You can change the
default phone lock code (the last four digits of your phone number)
to any numeric string in the range of 4 to 8 digits.
1. In the standby mode, choose Menu > Settings > Security
Settings > Phone Lock.
2. Select one of the following phone lock modes:
Immediate: Lock the phone immediately.
Power On: Enable the phone lock when the phone is powered
on the next time.
Off: Disable your phone lock.
In the standby mode, press
phone lock code to unlock the phone; or press
make an emergency call.

Changing the Phone Lock Code

You can change the default or the current phone lock code into
any numeric string in the range of 4 to 8 digits. Do remember your
phone lock code. If you forget it, contact the service center.
