Shooting modes

This camera allows you to take still pictures and record movies. You can
select the appropriate mode from the SCENE SELECT (PROGRAM AUTO/
/

want to achieve when you take still pictures.
The factory default setting of the shooting mode is PROGRAM AUTO. For
normal shooting which does not require any special setting or effect, you do
not need to follow this procedure.

Open the lens barrier fully.
• The camera turns on in the shooting mode.

The camera maintains the correct focus and exposure even if your subject
moves. You cannot record movies with sound.
