Google Hangouts

With the Hangouts app, you can send messages and make video calls to multiple people. You can
also share photos and your location with others.

Start a Hangout

You can start a Hangout by sending a message or making a video call.
1. Touch

at the top right of your Hangouts list.
3. Select a contact for your Hangout by typing the person's name, email address, phone number
or circle in the search box. You can also select one of your contacts from the lists below the
search box.
4. You can start a Hangout in the following ways:
Send a message: Type your message and touch

Note: Touch to add your location information to your message; touch
message.
Make a video call: You can also make a video call to that person by touching

Start a Group Hangout

You can start a group Hangout to chat with multiple people.
1. Touch

at the top right of your Hangouts list.
3. Select a contact for your Hangout by typing the person's name, email address, phone number
or circle in the search box. You can also select one of your contacts from the lists below the
search box.
4. Touch Anyone else? In the contact box at the top of the Hangout.
5. Select one or more people to add to the Hangout.
6. Touch OK.
7. Type the message you'd like to send, and touch
