    When the CD does not function Make sure that the disc is normal, and set the CD TEST MODE (STEP 1). When the CD section does not operate when the objective lens of the optical pickup is dirty, this section may not operate. Clean the objective lens, and check the playback operation.
  • Page 8 • Focus servo sawtooth wave failure. • Laser failure. Is +6.2V applied to the emiter of Q861 ? Check the PWB pattern between emiter of Q607 and emiter of IC802 is faulty. Is sawtooh wave output to the pin 48 (FOO) of IC802 ? Q861.
