VEHICLE CONTROLS
NOTICE
Opening the moonroof in below freezing temperatures or when it is covered
with snow or ice can damage the moonroof panel or motor.

Interior and Exterior Lights

Operate interior and exterior lights when the vehicle is on or off.
Brightness Control
n
Adjust instrument panel brightness
when the vehicle is on.
To brighten: Turn the knob to the right.
To dim: Turn the knob to the left.
A beep sounds when the brightness
reaches its minimum or maximum
level.
Interior Lights
n
ON position: Interior lights remain on.
Door-activated position: Interior
lights come on when any of the doors
or tailgate is opened, the driver's door
is unlocked, or the vehicle is turned
off.
OFF position: Interior lights remain
off.
Map Lights
n
Press the front map lights to turn on
or off.

Press the second- or third-row map
lights to turn on or off when the front
interior light switch is in the door-
activated position.
Cargo Area Lights
n
Located on the rear ceiling in front of
the tailgate.
ON position: Cargo lights remain on.
OFF position: Cargo area lights
remain off.
Exterior Lights
n
Rotate the switches on the headlight lever to operate the exterior lights.
Push the lever forward to turn on the high beams. Return the lever to its
original position for low beams.
OFF: All exterior lights are off.
: Turn on exterior lights except
headlights.
AUTO: Turn on the automatic lighting
feature*. Headlights turn on or off
depending on ambient brightness
when the vehicle is on. Headlights
automatically come on after the
wipers are engaged for a certain
time.
: Turns on all exterior lights including headlights.
: Turns fog lights* on or off.

Auto High-Beam System*

Automatically changes the low beam headlights to high beam headlights, when
necessary.
How It Works
n
When you are driving at night above 45 mph (72 km/h) and the headlight
lever is in the low beam position with the switch rotated to AUTO,
the system changes between low and high beams depending on the
surrounding conditions.
