Button Functions, cont.
SAT/DTV Receiver Functions
CHANNEL Up/Down changes the channels.
WIDE Changes the picture aspect ratio e.g. Wide,
Panorama, etc.
"-" (Dash) use with the 0-9 buttons to select digital
video sub-channels if available e.g. 2-1, 2-2, etc. Also
operates your Satellite (or Cable) +100 channel function.
PAGE Up/Down buttons scroll on-screen Guide Menus
page by page.
GUIDE button displays the on-screen Channel Guide.
INFO button displays on-screen current Channel and
system information.
MENU/DTV brings up the Main Menu screen - use with
the UP, DOWN, LEFT & RIGHT navigation buttons.
OK/SELECT button is used for on-screen Menu
selections.
EXIT button is used to Exit or Clear on-screen Menu
displays.
AUDIO toggles between multilingual audio tracks (if
available) .
INPUT button performs the TV/SAT function.
DVD Functions (labeled in blue/black)
SKIP+ and SKIP- buttons respectively locate the
succeeding or preceding Chapters or Tracks on a disc.
MARKER/MEM Store and playback favorite portions of
the disc.
ZOOM Zooms or enlarges a specific area of the screen.
RPT A-B button performs DVD players "A-B Repeat"
(or RPT A.B) function for repeat play of current Chapter
or Track.
>10 Use with digit keys to select tracks greater than 10.
TITLE brings up the DVD Title Menu screen.
INFO button brings up DVD Display or Control Menu
for Chapter/Track/Title number, Time remaining/elapsed
indication, system information, etc.
MENU brings up the DVD disc Menu screen - use with
the UP, DOWN, LEFT & RIGHT navigation buttons.
OK/SELECT button is used for on-screen Menu
selection. Note some DVD players require the Play
button to be used.
EXIT Exit On-Screen Menus and/or Return to previous
On-Screen selection.
SCAN+ and SCAN- buttons control the speed of Fast
Forward and Reverse Playback respectively.

PLAY button is used to start Disc playback and for
Menu selection on some DVD players.
STOP button stops Disc playback.
RECORD button operates with your DVD-Recorder
(press twice to Record).
PAUSE button pauses Disc playback - press PLAY to
resume.
AUDIO selects the audio language or sound during disc
playback.
INPUT button activates the DVD Player's SETUP
Menu.

DVR Functions

MENU brings up the Main Menu screen - use with the
UP, DOWN, LEFT & RIGHT navigation buttons. Also
accesses TiVo Central.
OK/SELECT button is used for on-screen Menu and
Guide selections.
GUIDE Displays Program Guide and/or listings.
INFO brings up the Channel Banner and/or shows
information about the current show.
REPLAY Replays the last few seconds of a program.
ADVANCE Catches you up to the live broadcast.
LIVE TV goes to Live TV broadcast.
PAGE/THUMBS UP & DOWN Moves one screen at a
time up or down in TV guides and menus or sets your
Thumbs ratings for TiVo players.

INPUT/TV/SAT
When in TV Mode the INPUT/TV/SAT button performs
the INPUT source switch function.
When in a Mode that has been programmed for Cable
the INPUT/TV/SAT button performs the A.B switch
function.
When in a Mode that has been programmed for SAT the
INPUT/TV/SAT button performs the TV/SAT switch
function.
When in a Mode that has been programmed for DVD the
INPUT/TV/SAT button performs the DVD Setup
function.
When in a Mode that has been programmed for VCR the
INPUT/TV/SAT button performs the TV/VCR switch
function.
When in a Mode that has been programmed for DVR the
INPUT/TV/SAT button performs the TV/DVR switch
function.
