• Covers a large area: Compare to fixed cameras, PTZ cameras provide wider area coverage
as the PTZ can move. This means usage of a PTZ camera will help to minimize the total
number of cameras required, thus reducing total cost of coverage per area.
• Guard Tour: Provides a series of video images for each location with zoom capability in the
one window.
• Tracks moving objects: The PTZ camera allows an operator to follow a moving object, such
as people or cars, by PTZ control. Also, the operator can zoom in and capture details of the
targeted object, such as the face or the license plate.
