Watchdog Function
If enabled, the WatchDog Timer will cause the system to reboot when the system
is inactive for more than 5 minutes. The options are Enabled and Disabled.

Super IO Chip: This item displays the status of the onboard Super IO chip.
Watchdog Function
Select Enabled to enable the Watch Dog Timer. The options are Enabled and
Disabled.
Serial Port 0 Confi guration/Serial Port 1 Confi guration
Serial Port
Select Enabled to enable a serial port specifi ed by the user. The options are
Enabled and Disabled.
Device Settings
This feature indicated if reset is required or not for a serial port specifi ed.
Change Settings
Use this feature to set the optimal Environment_Control_Interface (PECI) setting
for a serial port specifi ed. The default setting is Auto, which will allow the AMI
BIOS to automatically select the best setting for the PECI platform.
Device Mode
Use this feature to select the desired mode for a serial port specifi ed. The options
are Normal and High Speed.
Serial Port Console Redirection

COM 1/COM2
These two submenus allow the user to confi gure the following Console Redirection
settings for a COM Port specifi ed by the user.
Console Redirection
Select Enabled to use a COM Port selected by the user for Console Redirection.
The options are Enabled and Disabled.
