Removing
CAUTION
HOLD THE VEHICLE STEADY WITH THE OPTIONAL SERVICE STAND FROM THE FRONT AND
BELTS ATTACHED TO AN OPTIONAL HOIST FROM THE REAR.
•
Fasten the belts to the chassis at the
engine upper support.
•
Lift the hoist arm until the belts are taut.
•
Remove the chain.
•
Remove the rear wheel.
•
Working from the left side, unscrew
and remove the nut (1) and collect the
washer.
•
Slide off the screw from the opposite
side.
•
Remove the connecting rod assembly
from the swingarm.
•
Undo and remove the internal screw
(2).
•
Detach the pipe clamp still attached to
the rear brake pipe from the swingarm.
