TEST PROGRAM

1. Preparation
1.1 Peripheral equipment
Windows PC (serial terminal, USB terminal, USB MIDI driver)
(Install NHB32-C USB MIDI driver in advance.)
Enter a check [V] for ON/OFF of USB MIDI driver.
AC voltmeter
NHB32-C (for jigs)
Make following settings for PATCH "01".
The CH1 to CH8 input of [AES/EBU 1] is output at CH1 to CH8 of CobraNet.
The CH1 to CH8 input of [AES/EBU 2] is output at CH9 to CH16 of CobraNet.
The CH1 to CH8 input of CobraNet is output at CH1 to CH8 of [AES/EBU1].
The CH9 to CH16 input of CobraNet is output at CH1 to CH8 of [AES/EBU2].
Make following settings for PATCH "02".
The CH1 to CH8 input of [AES/EBU 1] is output at CH17 to CH24 of CobraNet.
The CH1 to CH8 input of [AES/EBU 2] is output at CH25 to CH32 of CobraNet.
The CH17 to CH24 input of CobraNet is output at CH1 to CH8 of [AES/EBU1].
The CH25 to CH32 input of CobraNet is output at CH1 to CH8 of [AES/EBU2].
Set MASTER CLOCK to "AES/EBU 1 1/2".
DME32
Insert "MYT8-AE" into SLOT1 and SLOT 2.
1kHz, -14dBFS is output at all channels of SLOT 1 and SLOT 2.
Set MASTER CLOCK to "INTERNAL".
Insert "MY4-DA"into SLOT 3.
Set all the GAIN select switchs of MY4-DA to "+18dB".
Use 600Ω for the analog output load of MY4-DA.

Assign the input signal of SLOT1 and SLOT2 to SLOT3 to convert it to the analog signal before measurement,
observation and hearing inspection.
Use 10 seconds or more for visual inspection and hearing inspection.
Note) When turning the rotary switch [UNIT ID](MAIN sheet SW201: Part No. V9614600), be sure to use a screwdriver
with the tip shape suitable for this switch so as to avoid deformation of the switch.
2. How to start
Start up the communication software "Tera Term Pro for ACU/NHB" specially intended for ACU16-C/NHB32-C issued as the
master data.
Set the communication format as follows.
Baud rate: 38400bps
Data: 8bits
Parity: none
Stop: 1bit
Flow control: none
To start up the TEST program, turn on the power to NHB32-C and press the "F1" key of the keyboard. Then the PC screen
appears as shown below.

Press the number of the keyboard corresponding to the test item number and then press the "ENTER" key. Then testing only the
selected test item will be executed out of the list of test items.
