Security
Use this menu to configure how to help secure your phone and its data.
On the Settings screen, tap the General tab > Security.
Content lock – Select lock types to lock files for QuickMemo+.
Encrypt phone – Allows you to encrypt data on the phone for
security. You will be required to enter a PIN or password to decrypt
your phone each time you power it on.
Encrypt SD card – Encrypt the memory card to prevent use on
another device. See
Set up SIM card lock – Sets the PIN to lock your SIM card and allows
you to change the PIN.
Password typing visible – Enable to briefly show each character of
passwords as you enter them so that you can see what you enter.
Phone administrators – Allow privileges to restrict the control or use
of the device to particular apps.
Unknown sources – Allow the installation of apps from non-Play
Store apps.
Credential protection – View the type of the storage where the
security certificate will be saved.
Certificate management – Manage the security certificate saved on
the device.
Trust agents – View and use trust agents installed on the device.
Screen pin – Fix the app screen so that only the currently active app
can be used.
Usage access – View details on usage of apps on the device.
Quick Cover View
Using the Quick Cover View, you can check incoming calls and stop alarm/
timer when the cover is closed. To unlock the phone while using the cover,
screen lock must be set to Swipe.
On the settings screen, tap General > Quick Cover View.
