DESCRIPTION The wallboard has a 10Base-T Ethernet input and a current-loop and V24-compatible asynchronous serial input. Such inputs are used to receive display controls. The wallboard also has a current-loop asynchronous serial output for the parallel connection of up to seven additional 2x16 wallboards.

The Ethernet cable from the HUB is connected to the RJ45 Ethernet plug directly. V24 and current-loop serial connections are made to the plug-in connector.
IP setting management only applies if the wallboard is set up in IP mode (see configuration). IP settings can be accessed from a PC. A Web browser can be used to connect to the wallboard’s IP address. At power on, the wallboard’s IP address is displayed in the second line.

The Web browser goes through a proxy server to connect to the Internet. Solution In the browser settings, remove the proxy server or specify that the proxy server should not be used to connect to the wallboard’s IP address. Cause Error in the sub-network mask or gateway address.
