INDICATORTIGHT
The Indicator Light flashes to show that the remote is working.

The ON . OFF button operates the same as on your original
remote Note: Some RCA, GE and ProScan models require you
to press the device button to turn to device on and the
OFF . ON button to turn the device off.
CODE SEARCH
Used to program the remote or to search through codes.

The TV, VCR, DBS . CABLE, and DVD . AUX buttons are used
to select the device you want to control.
BEVERSE.
RLAY. FORWARD.
RECORD.
STOP, PAUSE
The REVERSE, PLAY, FORWARD, RECORD, STOP, and
PAUSE buttons operate the same as on your original VCR or
DVD remote. You must press the RECORD button twice to
begin recording.
I V.VCR
When in VCR mode, the TV . VCR button operates the
TV ' VOR function of your VCR.
EI{TER
The ENTER button is used to complete channel selection for
some brands ofTV. It is also used to complete the code entry
process, finally, it is used in Menu Mode as a Select or OK.
VOL & CH
The VOL(Volume)and CH(Channel) buttons inc¡ease or
decrease the channel numbers or volume.
TUTE
To MUTE the volume on the TV.
P RE V CH
PREV CH allows you to go to the previous channel you
selected. Operates the same as the Last Channel, Go Back, or
Recall button on your original remote.

The number buttons operate the same as on your original
remote, and are used for entering device codes or channel
numbers.
MENU
The MENU button brings up the TV, DBS and DVD set up menus.
SLEEP
The SLEEP button allows you to set a time to turn off the TV
automatically.
Your Universal Remote requires 2 new AAA alkaline batteries
(not included).
To install the batteries:
I . On the back ofthe remote, push and slide the cover off.
2. Match the batieries to the + sDd - marks inside the battery
case, the inseft the batteries.
3. Press and push the battery cover back into place.
Note : Reprog¡amming may be required ¡fter 6¡tteries are replaced.
