If part ( ) of the double feed prevention roller comes off, attach it as shown below.

Open the "Roller exchange kit (KV-SS064)" (optional) and take out the new double feed prevention
roller.

Install the new double feed prevention roller.

Refer to step 7 of "4.3 Installing the Unit" (page 16).

Insert the tabs, and close the double feed prevention roller cover by pushing it until it clicks into place.

Make sure that the left and right rubber parts of the double feed prevention roller are located in the
center of the holes of the double feed prevention roller cover.
•
Make sure that the double feed prevention roller cover does not stick up. If the double feed prevention
roller cover is not completely closed, damage or paper jams may occur.
19.
Close the ADF door (page 34).
20.
Turn on the unit's power (page 32).
21.
After replacing the roller, set the After Replace Roller Counter to zero (0) (page 82).
