    1. Introduction The MS-VGB1K Mobile VGB is a main Audio and Video processing unit for Virtual Interactive Board System (VGB-1000F/R). It is an integrated system of HD/SD Chromakeyer, HD/SD Digital Video Recorder, Audio Delay Box, H.264 Network Video Streaming Server, Power Center, and Foot Switch, which are all housed in a 4U Rack Mount Kit.

    2. Rear Panel Connections 2.1 RP-77 Rear Panel Foreground Connect one of SDI IN or HDMI IN to the SDI/HDMI IN camera shooting foreground Talent. Background HDMI Connect this port to an “output” port of a 2~4 port HDMI Splitter. Connect another HDMI output of the HDMI splitter to the Projector.
  • Page 10 AUDIO IN (R)/(L) Connect the RCA AUDIO IN either to a PC (PPT Audio) or to a player as background sound. MIC IN Connect this port external microphone. Note: At the back panel of AD-100M as shown in the diagram below, select the correct 48V Phantom power for Condenser Microphone or 48V off for Dynamic Microphone before use.
  • Page 11 CHROMA Control Connect this port to a PC/NB with the DVK- 300HD software installed to apply the Chromakey effect to the foreground camera video. Please refer DVK-300HD instruction manual for in-depth operation instructions. PGM _REC_SDI Connect this port to an SDI monitor, which displays the recorded video/audio on the HDR-70 during playback.

    2.2 PD-2A Power Center Turns the PD-2A On / Off when using AC On / Off Switch Power. Note: No function when DC Power is used. AC IN with built-in AC Inlet for connecting to suitable mains fuse power outlet (100-240 VAC). The socket contains a fuse holder fitted with a 6.3A fuse.

    3. Peripheral Device – FS-210 Foot Switch The FS-210 is a Foot Switch designed specifically for use with the MS-VGB1K. Its purpose is for the user to toggle between Record and Record Pause modes on the HDR-70 HD/SD Digital Video Recorder by simply stepping on the pedal. The mode that the recorder is currently in is indicated by the Tally Light on the LBK-1 Look Back Kit.

    4. Front Panel 4.1 AD-100M Audio Delay Box Power ON/OFF Switches the power ON/OFF Switch Menu This switch allows access to the 9 mode system settings. Mode Select LEVEL or TIME information on LCD Display. LEVEL displays the audio output level in dBu.

    Turns ON/OFF the network streaming feature Note: Before using this button, the user should first make sure the network and stream settings properly configured. Restore factory defaults from the front panel. From power off, press and hold the STM button and turn on the NVS-25 power; keep holding the STM button for 40 seconds.

    5. Quick Setup Before start using your MS-VGB1K, there are several settings that must be manually configured. This section will guide you through various specific configurations. 5.1 DVK-300HD HD/SD Chromakey – Alpha Matte Preview Output Please make sure the Alpha Matte Preview Output is set to PREVIEW (PVW).

    3. Select “PREVIEW (PVW)” and then click the “SAVE” button to complete the configuration. 5.2 NVS-25 Video Streaming Server – Audio Setting The audio source should be set to RCA. Login the NVS-25 User Interface, click Settings -> Encoder Setup. Once in the Encoder Setup page, click the “Audio Source” pull-down menu and select RCA.

    6. Quick Calibration Guide 1. Locate AC inlet at the back of MS-VGB1K and connect it to the wall socket using a power cord. 2. Press the power button on the left of the AC inlet to turn on MS-VGB1K.
  • Page 23 10. Use the camera (LBK-1) zoom function to make sure the four corners of the monitor correspond to the four corners of the green board. 11. Attach the eBeam receiver to the left of the board as shown in the diagram below and connect the receiver to the notebook by a USB cable.
