Check whether the hardware limit switch wire is short-circuited with the high level signal.

Check whether the hardware limit switches are damaged.

Reference point approach fault

Fault description
Case 1:
Press the desired axis traversing key, the position values displayed on the PPU do not change and the axis
does not move.
Case 2:
Press the desired axis traversing key, the position values displayed on the PPU change but the axis does not
move.
Case 3:
Press the desired axis traversing key, the axis moves until the hardware limit switch alarm appears.
Case 4:
Press the desired axis traversing key, the axis always moves in the opposite direction.
Case 5:
Press the desired axis traversing key, the axis moves only for a short distance.
Case 6:
Press the desired axis traversing key, the machine alarm 20002 appears after the axis exits the deceleration
switch.
Case 7:
Press the desired axis traversing key, the Jog operation and automatic program execution run normally, but
the system does not respond when approaching the reference point.
Case 8:
When approaching the reference point, the position of the axis is out by the pitch of leadscrew.
Diagnostic steps
Case 1

Check if there is an alarm on the PPU screen, and continue operation after eliminating the alarm via the following key:

The machine data is lost if the alarms 004060, 004062, and 004065 appear; in this case, it is necessary to restore the
backup data and restart after power-off to check whether the fault has been eliminated.
Case 2
1.
Check whether the control system is in the program test state:
Check whether the status LED for program test on the MCP is lit
(it must be off)
Check whether the PRT icon appears in the program status bar
on the PPU screen (it must be deactivated)
2.
Check whether the settings of machine data MD30130, MD30240, and MD30350 are correct:
MD30130 = 2
MD30240 = 3
MD30350 = 0
Case 3
Check whether the machine deceleration switches and their connections are broken.
