REMOVING BATTERY COMPARTMENT COVER
The battery
compartment cover is located at
the
back
of the Carry-Corder directly behind the loudspeaker. To
open, slide the catch upward toward
the
dot and lift
the
cover off the
machine.
INSERTING BATTERIES
Insert the b
atteries into the
com partment on
top of the
battery fla
p in accor

ap diagram. Make
s ure the caps of the ba tteries are placed in accordance
with
this
diagram
.
CAUTION
Inserting the batteries improperly
will
cause damage
to the
Carry-Corder.
Serial Number
-
The
serial
numbe
r
of the
Carry-Corder
is directly under the battery flap diagram.
REPLACING BATTERY COMPARTMENT
COVER
Slide the
cover
in
place until
the
lip of the cover is
under
the case
; push down back
of
cover
to snap it
in
place.
Checking the Batteries-
Ch
eck the
condition
of the
batteries
aft er th
ey have been installed and
again each
time the recorder is used. The VU Meter/Battery
level
(10) is provided for this
purpose.
To
check the condition of the batteries, set the Func-
tion Knob (9)
in the
Play/Record position
&
and observe
t he needle of the VU Meter/Battery
level
(1 0). The
bat-
te ries are
in good
condition if the need le rests within
the
green segment of
the
indica
