Back Up Contacts
If you are saving contacts to an account that does not automatically back them up to the Cloud, you
can manually back them up to an optional installed SD card for re-import if needed.
Before Backing Up Contacts to an SD Card
You will need to have installed an SD card (not included) into your phone before you can back up
your contacts. See Memory Card for SD card information.
Back Up Contacts to Your SD Card
1. From home, swipe up to access Apps.
2. Tap
Contacts.
3. Tap More options > Manage contacts > Import/export contacts.
4. Tap Export and follow the prompts to complete the export.
Contacts Settings
These settings allow you to modify settings associated with using the Contacts app.
1. From home, swipe up to access Apps.
2. Tap
Contacts > More options > Settings.
3. Tap an option and follow the prompts.
Email
Use the Email application to send and receive email from your webmail or other accounts, using
POP3 or IMAP, or access your ActiveSync account for your corporate email needs.
Set Up an Email Account
Your phone supports several types of email accounts and allows you to have multiple email accounts
set up at one time.
Before setting up an email account, make sure you have the username (user ID), password, server
name, etc., so you can get set up successfully.
