Safety instructions

Please read, follow and retain the operating instructions!
When passing on the appliance, enclose these instructions.
This appliance is designed for the household or for similar, non-
industrial applications. Non-industrial applications include e.g. use in
employee kitchens in shops, offices, agricultural and other commercial
businesses, as well as use by guests in boarding houses, small hotels
and similar dwellings.

Connect and operate the appliance only in accordance with the
specifications on the rating plate. Never connect the appliance to timer
switches or remote-controllable sockets. Do not use the appliance if
the power cord and/or appliance are damaged.
Keep children under 8 years of age away from the appliance and
connecting cable and do not allow them to use the appliance.
This appliance may be used by children aged 8 or over and by people
who have reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or inadequate
experience and/or knowledge, provided they are supervised or have
been instructed on how to use the appliance safely and have
understood the resulting dangers. Children shall not play with the
appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless
they are aged from 8 years and above and supervised.
Never immerse the appliance or mains cable in water.
Always pull out the mains plug after using the appliance, before
cleaning the appliance, before leaving the room or if a fault occurs.
Do not place the power cord over sharp edges or hot surfaces.
To protect the user, all repairs to the appliance, e.g. replacement of the
power cord, should be carried out only by our customer service.
While the appliance is on, the temperature of the exposed
surface may be very hot. Take hold of the appliance by the
handle only, do not transport the appliance until it has cooled
down!
Never leave the appliance unattended while it is switched on.
