4-9-4. Paging Reception (Wait)
1. Tune to the predetermined frequency.
2. Press the F key. then press the DTSS/PAG key to enter
THE PAGING
MODE.

Waiting with individual code

3. When called with your station ID code. the memory
number automatically change to O. The ID code of the
calling station is displayed. (For KENWOOD's trans-
ceivers. This also applies to the following descrip-
tions.) (Example: Frequency: 145.660 MHz. calling
station code: 444)

Zero is displayed to indicate that the station is
being called.

4. The squelch is opened and the calling other party is
heard. (The individual code of the calling station is
stored in memory 0.)
5. Press the PTT switch to respond to the calling station.
