5 Check if there are burrs on the edges of the bar.
Remove these with a file if necessary.
6 Check if the groove in the bar has become badly worn.
Replace the bar if necessary.
7 Check if the tip of the bar is uneven or badly worn. If
a hollow forms on the underside of the bar tip this is
due to running with a slack chain. To prolong the life of
the bar, change the direction of chain rotation in the
settings on the remote control. For details, see
operator's manual for Husqvarna power pack.
8 Use a ruler to check that the bar is not bent. Put the
ruler against the bar nose. The ruler must align to the
bar.
MAINTENANCE
9 Grease the guide bar and the diamond chain daily.
Chain tension function
1 Pull the grey block to check the elasticity.
2 Clean the slots and grease them.
