POSSIBLE CAUSE
The PowerCenter
is sharing AC power with equipment
that is not properly grounded.
The incoming video signal is not properly grounded.
The PowerCenter protection circuitry has sacrificed
itself to protect connected equipment from
a catastrophic surge.
Device plugged into GreenPower Plus Control outlet
is in stand-by mode.
GreenPower Plus is disabled.
GreenPower Plus activation level has not been set.
REMEDY
• Connect your PowerCenter to a dedicated outlet.
• Try unplugging different components from the PowerCenter
one at a time to see if the noise stops. If a component is discovered
to be improperly grounded, attach a copper wire from the component's
chassis to the PowerCenter's grounding post.
• Contact your cable or satellite provider to correct your installation.
• The PowerCenter must be replaced. See the Limited Warranty
for Consumers section for important details.
• Turn on device plugged into GreenPower Plus Control outlet.
• Press and hold down the Power button (labeled "Switched")
on the front panel for five (5) seconds. When the PowerCenter
beeps twice, GreenPower Plus is activated.
• Set GreenPower Plus activation level. Refer to page 16 for instructions.
