Enable security, data logging and encryption

1. Push << to show the sliding menu.
2. Push the SETUP icon.
3. Push SECURITY.
4. Select the General tab.
5. Select an option.

6. To set all the settings back to the factory defaults, push Restore Factory Defaults.

Set password expiration and automatic log off

1. Push << to show the sliding menu.
2. Push the SETUP icon.
3. Push SECURITY.
4. Select the Settings tab.
5. Select an option.

Automatically logoff after Set the number of minutes of inactivity before automatic logoff occurs. Options:

Add, delete or change users

A maximum of 10 operator users can be added. Only operator users may be added or deleted. The
administrator and factory users cannot be deleted.
There are four types of users:
Guest—Any user who is not logged on to the system. This user may access most areas and view
information but cannot change any settings or start any operations. Guests have no access to the
security settings dialog box.
Operator—Has full access to most dialog boxes. Operators have no access to the security settings
dialog box and read-only access to the factory settings and the bottle mode settings.
Administrator—Has full access to most dialog boxes. The administrator has read-only access to the
factory dialog box. The default administrator entry has a user name of "Administrator", a user ID of
"Admin" and a default password of "123456".
Factory—Has full access to all dialog boxes.
Note: Push the Print icon to print the user settings for all the users except the administrator and factory users.

Description
Enable security (default = disabled). Login is necessary before changes are made. Only
the administrator may access the security settings.
Note: When not selected, no login is necessary and the audit trail is disabled.
Enable data logging (default = enabled). All data (maximum of 5000 records) is
automatically kept in the internal data buffer.
Enable encryption of exported data files for 21 CFR Part 11 compliance (default =
disabled). Encrypted files are read with the TOC Dataview PC software. Decrypted data
can be saved as PDF for file storage.
Description
Set the number of days before a password must be changed. Options: 30 to
365 days (default = 60)
Set the number of passwords that are kept in memory to prevent the use of an
old password. Options: 0 to 5 (default = 3)
0 (disable auto logoff) to 60 (default = 30)
