Preparing the IBM 4214 Printer Model 2 for System Checkout:
1. Set the Power switch on the 4214 Printer Model 2 to the
I (On) position.
2. The following display appears on the operator panel of the
4214 Printer Model 2 after about 10 seconds:

3. Press the Start key. The following display appears on the
operator panel of the 4214 Printer Model 2:
The 4214 Printer Model 2 is ready for system checkout.
